Across the meadow to Hogwarts.
Alnwick Castle, home of the Duke of Northumberland. This famous castle has been used for various locations by film and tv companies but is mostly famous for being Hogwarts, the school attended by Harry Potter.
The River Aln meanders through the estate and it's a lovely peaceful walk across the meadow towards to castle.

... as climate change is becoming more and more evident with more frequent extreme weather events such as heat waves, thunderstorms, drought and flooding - it is high time for more serious efforts!
A gorgeous mineral that I have been trying to photograph for a while. Some kind of silicon. How anyone can accuse me of having a fondness for bling, I can't understand. LOL

I went to Gruene, Texas today with my friend from Chicago. Gurene's is a tourist trap of a small Texas town trapped in the late 1800's..;) I took a series of shots so you'll be seeing more of this town coming soon.;) Hope everyone has a great Easter
