Frida, 1 of 2 of our "adopted" cats. we have decided to adopt our son's cats as it has become increasingly apparent that shipping them to australia to be with our son has become too problematic. we had considered placing them with another family, but we fell in love with them while serving as their "foster" parents ;-)

Frida, one of our son's 2 Maine Coons, who is currently our houseguest. our son has recently moved to brisbane, australia, and his cats will be joining him there in a few months. until then, we have the privilege of their company.
One of a kind! did you know that out of a thousand ginger born kittens, only one is female? Here is one, Frida!

The beauty and the challenge of working with f/1.4. The focus in the eyes is amazing in my opinion but everything else is blurry. What do you think about it?

We have many Frida murals here in NM but this one is closest to me,
On the street where I live we have a new restuaurant called Bedrock Kitchen and they have this rather fabulous painting of Frida wearing her 505 T while enjoying a taco.
Burque (pronounced "Booed-Kay") is slang for city of Albuquerque. The term refers to Burqueños meaning people from Albuquerque.
