Les sculptures de Laurent Trezegnies sont en grande partie conditionnées par une prise en considération des lieux d’intervention et par une volonté de modifier la façon dont ils peuvent être appréhendés. Pour Art Public Liège, il a développé une installation au moyen de sangles d’arrimage tendues entre la base des deux piles de la passerelle Saucy et la structure de son tablier. Les traits rouges définissent ainsi deux faisceaux qui rayonnent vers le haut. Il y a des jeux avec la présence du fleuve : d’oppositions avec la noirceur de ses eaux ; de reflets avec sa surface ; de résonances avec le mouvement des vagues. « Je travaille sur la richesse expressive du trait, sur ses interprétations. Avec une pièce comme celle-là, je questionne en quoi le dessin peut être appliqué à des formes environnementales pour élargir, renouveler, enrichir la perception du lieu et en proposer une nouvelle vibration. Comme dans la plupart de mes interventions, les matériaux sont industriels, de ceux dont la puissance expressive est généralement tenue pour inexistante. En outre, les sangles modifient la fréquence du vent et apporte une dimension sonore. »
Laurent Trezegnies’s sculptures are largely conditioned by a consideration of places of intervention and by a desire to modify the way in which they may be understood. For Art Public Liège, he developed an installation using lashing straps stretched between the base of the two piers of the Saucy footbridge and the structure of its deck. The red lines thus define two beams which radiate upwards. There are games with the presence of the river: oppositions with the blackness of its waters; reflections with its surface; of resonances with the movement of waves. “I work on the expressive richness of the line, on its interpretations. With a piece like this, I question how drawing can be applied to environmental forms to expand, renew, enrich the perception of the place and offer a new vibration. As in most of my interventions, the materials are industrial, those whose expressive power is generally held to be non-existent. In addition, the straps modify the frequency of the wind and bring a sound dimension. "
Framed clouds through the windows of the old Delicias railway station (1880-1969), in Madrid, Spain, which currently houses the Railway Museum.
The truth is that the clouds threatened rain, but in the end it was a great afternoon and night.
In that old station, with a monthly frequency, a temporary market called "Mercado de Motores" is organized, although in reality all kinds of items are sold, such as antiques, clothing, accessories, and food items for gourmets.
There I recently bought a delicious meat from cattle raised in a completely natural way, even with food produced by a farm in the province of Toledo.
NUBES ENMARCADAS, 2023
Nubes enmarcadas a través de los cristales de la antigua estación de ferrocarril de Delicias (1880-1969), en Madrid, España, que actualmente alberga el Museo del Ferrocarril.
La verdad es que las nubes amenazaban lluvia, pero al final quedó una tarde y una noche estupendas.
En esa antigua estación, con una frecuencia mensual, se organiza un mercado temporal llamado, "Mercado de Motores", aunque en realidad se venden todo tipo de artículos, como antigüedades, ropa, complementos, y artículos de comida para gourmets.
Allí compre recientemente una riquísima carne de reses criadas de forma totalmente natural, incluso con la alimentación de producción propia de una granja de la provincia de Toledo.

A colorful medium sized raptor found pretty much everywhere along the coasts across the country - though in varying frequency. This is an immature male I think based on the plumage. There were about 4-5 of them, all of them sitting on perches like this around 10 feet from each other in a lagoon on the Godavari river.
These kites were just resting after continuously harassing the small waders for a while. But then, an army of House Crows which were feeding on the crustaceans left over on the sandbar during the low tide didn't like the presence of these kites. So they continually mobbed them. 4-5 crows together mobbed each Brahminy kite at a time and in a span of 15-20 mins all of 4 of the kites flew away. The Kites briefly fought back, but it was each Kite for himself - the other kites didn't budge when their friend was mobbed. The crows though joined hands and fought the Kite - the groupism was so stark!

Abstract details of a Blue Microphone at f/1.2, 50mm and extension tubes.
Today was London United's final day operating Routes BL1/2 which were lost on tender to Diamond who take over on Monday. Starting with 08 plate SPs in a white livery, the routes were converted to singles post covid but latterly got reconverted to decker's on lower frequency to match demand. SP40185 is pictured here navigating around the site before heading back to Feltham Station
