In keeping with the season, I've been posting quite a few images with autumnal tones lately, so it seemed time to break it up with a shot featuring some brighter colors. It's a summer scene from the 2019 Oakland County Fair in Davisburg, Michigan. And there are a couple of benches in the image too, so I'm calling it a Bench Monday shot. :-)

DANCE
In dreams I walked; dazed by events
and blinded to the truthful present
blind-sighted; blinkered by the ensuing darkness
I clung to life like a life-buoy being dragged out to sea
the horizon looked so far away
no land in sight to fill my heart with hope and gaiety
but the further I drifted;
the more the sand beneath the ocean shifted
and a fault inside the Earth cracked wider and pulled me down
I was drowning deeply; water rising
my face upturned to see blue skies
last conscious thought was of the clouds descending
as they lifted me I felt my hopes rise
and consciousness broke gently
as the gentle tide lapped on the shore
I felt so light and free of pain
I began to doubt that I existed anymore
and now I feel the sand between my twitching toes
the salt air invades my pink and shiny nose
the gentle rainfall on my wind-whipped cheeks
I dance on tip-toes; writing poetry with my feet
splashing through the deepening puddles
fulfilling dreams; deconstructing puzzles
I feel alive; I have survived
a miracle set me free
no longer need to wonder now
or wander aimlessly
twirling; swirling; spun by the wind
my body is at one with nature; it will not rescind
I will not let it; I am a fighter; I found my light
and the dark and dreaded “tunnel” is now far from my sight
I need not let my history repeat itself in perpetuity
I can break it down and recreate my newly chosen destiny

HUD Functions:
-- Eating Speed:
With this option, you can choose between 3 different speeds, which affect the speed between every fries. *Fast* 0 Seconds, *Medium* 10 Seconds, *Slow* 20 Seconds
-- Auto Eating:
-- When you turn this option ON, the avatar will eat the entire Package of Fries, and then, the avatar will throw the package away, and the avatar will resume eating after grabbing a new package from his/her back pocket.
-- When you turn this OFF, the avatar won't eat any fries unless you manually click on the fries in the package.
-- Share with Friends:
-- Your friends can click on the RED part of the package to receive one *INVISIBLE* French Frie that they need to attach, and right after, they need to keep on the yellow part directly on the fries to eat one.
-- Particle FX:

These french fries are a staple on our local boardwalk. There can often be a line that is quite long during the summer season...and above them are seagulls galore waiting for that one fry to drop.
This is my son holding his small bucket.
I took this shot with my cellphone and the quality is pretty awful.
… bekommen Schnitzel mit Pommes Frittes, Fischstäbchen mit Erdäpfel-Gurkensalat und Spaghetti Bolognese aufgetischt und können endlich ihre hungrigen Bäuche sättigen.
"Malachi, was isst denn du? " fragt Bretel.
"Ist das nicht offensichtlich? Es ist Tea-Time und ich nehme eine exzellente Tasse mit Tee und einen hervorragenden Zitronenkuchen."
Nach der köstlichen Mahlzeit bereitet die nette Frau den Kindern und Malachi ein gemütliches Bett und die drei schlafen zufrieden ein.

…... are served Schnitzel with French fries, Fish fingers with potato and cucumber salad and Spaghetti Bolognese and can finally fill their hungry bellies.
"Malachi, what are you having to eat? " Bretel asks.
"Isn't it obvious? It's tea-time for me and I'll have an excellent cup of tea and a superb lemon cake."
After the delicious meal, the kind woman prepares a cosy bed for the children and Malachi and the three fall asleep contentedly.
