Two similar signs, one in Freiburg at the restaurant "Storchen", the other in Colmar. Despite the different countries and languages, there's a lot of joint history. Nonetheless, there are differences that immediately let you recognize which shot is from Germany and which from France.

The calanques (fjord-like bays) in the Cassis are particularly spectacular. Frequently a fog moves from the sea towards the mainland. Together with the sunlight in the late afternoon it is a spectacular scenery. Cassis, France.
Èze, France a short trip from Nice. A walk up the equestrian staircase in the medieval village of Èze, France. These stairs are made to make it easier for horses and mules to navigate. It's situated on a hilltop like many of the medieval villages. A great place to spend the day. It is one of many medieval villages by Nice, France.
