I modified the bus colour; removed bus serial number, route number, license plate number, manufacturer logo, ...

The Green Heron that flew up and almost landed on top of me wasn't my only encounter with them on that day!! Not only did I come across a few more but they were very cooperative and all willing to do a bit of posing!! This is another of my little green buddies that I found doing a bit of spear fishing on Armand Bayou!

L'Ermita de la Mare de Déu dels Peixets o del Miracle dels Peixos és una ermita d'Alboraia (Horta Nord, País Valencià) situada al sud del desembocament del barranc de Carraixet, i al costat de la platja de la Patacona. Així mateix, sobremira Port Sa Platja, un nucli urbà d'Alboraia situat a la riba nord del barranc.
L'ermita és el lloc on els alboraiencs festegen el miracle dels peixos. D'estil neogòtic, mostra una façana dividida en tres cossos, amb ventanals ogivals i teulada a dues aigües, en el costat dret es pot observar un panell ceràmic amb l'al·lusió al miracle suposadament ocorregut en l'any 1348 en aquest mateix lloc.El miracle dels peixets fou un esdeveniment religiós que, segons la tradició, tingué lloc el juliol de 1348 entre els actuals municipis d'Alboraia i Almàssera (Horta Nord, País Valencià).El miracle es commemora amb una romeria el dilluns de Pentecosta a l'ermita erigida en record de tal succés.
Segons la llegenda, un convers anomenat Hassam-Ardà, que estava greument ferit, cridà el capellà d'Alboraia (ja que Almàssera pertanyia llavors eclesiàsticament a eixa localitat) per a rebre el Sant Viàtic. El clergue, en anar a creuar el barranc de Carraixet, que venia crescut per una forta pluja, caigué en l'aigua juntament amb el seu cavall, perdent l'arqueta on guardava les sagrades formes.El religiós decidí tornar a Alboraia, i més tard hi acudiren uns llauradors dient que havien vist unes llumenetes brillants al barranc, que resultaren ser dos peixos amb les formes dins de la boca.Així doncs, el capellà recollí les formes amb un calze, que es conserva a Alboraia, mentres que l'arqueta és custodiada a Almàssera.Existix una polèmica sobre si el rector anava a Almàssera o en tornava, centrada en que si hi anava portaria tres formes i si en tornava, en portaria dos. Per tant, a l'escut d'Alboraia apareixen tres peixos i al d'Almàssera, dos.
Arran d'este succés, Almàssera sol·licità al bisbe de València una parròquia pròpia, cosa que aconseguí el 1352 gràcies a la mediació de n'Hug de Fenollet

La Ermita de la Virgen de los Peces o del Milagro de los Peces es una ermita de Alboraya (Horta Nord, Valencia) situada al sur del desembocament del barranco de Carraixet, y junto a la playa de la Patacona. Asimismo, sobremira Puerto Sa Playa, un núcleo urbano de Alboraya situado en la orilla norte del barranco.
La ermita es el lugar donde los alboraiencs festejan el milagro de los peces. De estilo neogótico, muestra una fachada dividida en tres cuerpos, con ventanales ojivales y tejado a dos aguas, en el lado derecho se puede observar un panel cerámico con la alusión al milagro supuestamente ocurrido en el año 1348 en este mismo lugar.El milagro de los peces (en valenciano miracle dels peixets) fue un acontecimiento religioso que, según la tradición, tuvo lugar en julio de 1348 entre los actuales municipios de Alboraya y Almácera (Huerta Norte, Valencia).1 El milagro se conmemora con una romería el lunes de Pentecostés a la ermita erigida en recuerdo de tal suceso.
Según la leyenda, un converso llamado Hassam-Arda, que estaba gravemente herido, llamó al cura de Alboraya (ya que Almácera pertenecía entonces eclesiásticamente a esa localidad) para recibir el Santo Viático. El parróco, al ir a cruzar el Carraixet, que venía crecido por una fuerte lluvia, cayó al agua junto a su caballo, perdiendo la arqueta donde contenía las sagradas formas.
El religioso decidió volver a Alboraya, y más tarde acudieron a él unos labradores diciendo que habían visto unas luces brillantes en el barranco, que resultaron ser dos peces con las formas en la boca. Así pues, el párroco recogió dichas formas con un cáliz, que se conserva en Alboraya, mientras que la arqueta está custodiada en Almácera.Existe una polémica sobre si el cura iba a Almácera o volvía de allí, centrada en que si iba a Almácera llevaría tres formas y si volvía, llevaría dos. Por tanto, en el escudo de Alboraya aparecen tres peces y en el de Almácera, dos.
A raíz de este suceso, Almácera solició al obispo de Valencia una parroquia propia, cosa que consiguió en 1352 gracias a la mediación de Hug de Fenollet.

This year I participated in a Railroad Secret Santa organized by Brick Train Depot. I was selected to build for Rob Hendrix, who is well known for building tiny trains and logging stuff. In a way, my choice to do logging disconnect trucks satisfy both, as they're tiny trains used for logging!
These aren't really based on a particular prototype, but are freelanced from the many photos of disconnect trucks (aka disconnects) that I found online. The basic idea is that the logs make up the body of the car, and the light disconnects can be coupled together without the log to head back to the loading area.

Guilty as charged!
Right in front of my nose, huge buildings, occupied by hundreds of families.
Downtown San Paulo, Brazil.
Few blocks from the City Hall, the Stock Exchange, the Central Bank among so many other fundamental, worthy and basic institutions.
In just one of the buildings, 475 families occupies 27 unfinished floors.
Kids play and run.
Clotheslines on the outside of the building, without any protection from falling down and in front of the entire city.
Windows, with breathtaking views, of one of the biggest and most populated cities on the Planet, made of compensated wood or sticks, even at the 27th floor.
People that use strength and organization to impose their reality, to a society that doesn’t care to listen.
Guilty as charged!
