One of the "free" pianos scattered around town. Some players are good - some not so. This guy had parked his bike and played away - well too.
Stewart Yeff told me he plays regularly at St Pancras Station. (Thirty-six seconds video.)
Discover London's free street pianos at Streetpianos.com. The website said there are two pianos at St Pancras Station and they "are being regularly repaired and retuned courtesy of the station management team". This one is near the passenger exit from the Eurostar Terminal.
I'm in love with these pianos. :D
:)
If you don't want to click on the link, it's a city-wide art installation...anyone can play the pianos...
They were unveiled on 21 June 2010, I happened to pass this one one 20 June 2010. Damn! Would have liked to try. :) I'll have to make it back soon. :)
City Hall Park , Downtown Manhattan, NYC
One of the pianos that has been placed around London for the next 4 weeks. Also just in the background, HMS Richmond has been moored next to HMS Belfast
