lei è fran-cesca e ci siamo conosciute dal vivo ieri. dico dal vivo, perchè la seguo in silenzio da quando ho scoperto flickr ed è stata da sempre una fonte di ispirazione per me. però non ho mai avuto il coraggio di cercarla e di dirle quando la stimi e quanto riesca a trasmettermi. poi una settimana fa ha lasciato un commento molto dolce ad una mia foto (non ci potevo credere!) e io le ho mandato un messaggio privato per ringraziarla e una chiacchiera tira l'altra e siamo finite per organizzare un uscita.
avete presente quando sognate di incontrare il vostro cantante o attore preferito e vi rendete conto che non accadrà mai perchè fatalità abitano tutti dall'altra parte del mondo? beh ecco, io invece ho avuto questa fortuna.
è stato proprio un bel pomeriggio... grazie di tutto!

I am often overcome by all of the talented folk singers even just in my own country who love to play and are so wonderful but probably aren't heard as widely as they should be....because, making music and touring costs quite a bit of money and it's hard to be able to do the things you love the most. Fran is one of those bands. They opened for Rosali and I couldn't believe Chicago was so lucky to have such a wonderful band playing here.
