Near the summit of Black Point (6959 ft.) is an area cracked with deep (30 - 50 Ft.) fissures. Thirteen thousand years ago this was a Volcano beneath a shallow ice age lake. The water levels dropped and the volcano became an island and then a peninsula. Parts of the sides of the fissures are covered with a layer of crystalline tufa (Thinolitic tufa). In the background are the Sierra Nevada Mountains and a portion of Mono lake can be seen. Mono county, California, U.S.A.

Seen from a balcony at San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. I like the contrast of the older buildings with their fire escape ladders and "roof art" with the newer and taller steel andglass high rises.

The heavens opened shortly after this picture was taken, I ended up drenched in this!

Reflections of a well tended barn in a broken window of an abandoned farmhouse.

I'm here ... and sorry.

We were busy giving the apartment a really good sort out and then had a chill out for a bit, before carrying on with the sorting. Which was when disaster hit.

Graham had a fall and was rushed off to hospital. He's got two fractured vertebrae, is now back home wearing a body brace and unfortunately for me, there isn't a home career available to help.

I will get around to answering everyone who's written to me on here or via my personal email, but obviously G comes first. Plus me too, as I'm having to do everything.
