LAST of the OLYMPUS 600 photos ..my dear camera has gone to flickr heaven...maybe ADDA should stand on the street corner with a tin cup and a sign around his neck:

DONATE SO I CAN PHOTOS OF JUNK

-------

In PARIS...ADDA's sign didn't produce many euros...

CHATEAU-LESS--please donate so ADDA can move out of the 10th

Buddha Vane, an assemblage using parts from a rod iron weather vane, where formerly a rooster sat on top, now the head of a buddha is on top.

Four arms attached next to the N., S., E. & W. letters rotate along with the head of buddha and can fully spin. The framed heart shadow box with a small brass buddha on top is stationary on the 4 footed base of the buddha vane.

I may add something to the back side of the framed heart, not sure what yet...?

I think this was a base for some kind of planter. The angle of the shot reminds me of the merry go rounds that used to be in school playgrounds but disappeared when too many kids got hurt on them.

wow...there were hundreds of blackbirds in the MISSION...THE BIRDS revisited

A scanned foil candy wrapper featuring a simplified, brightly colored world map. The crinkles and folds add an accidental topography. Playful, disposable, and a little cosmic.

Random objects found around my apartment. The dog head (?) and the large piece of glass were found in the dirt around my apartment, and the marble was found on my walk to school.

The chunk of glass is really lovely. It's a light aqua, but shines in some places with a rainbow. :D

FOUND OBJECT: it's back to one of ADDA's old favorite..the FOUND ITEM...

FOUND ITEM in SAN FRANCISCO streets and parks

I found this on my gas burner yesterday. I'm pretty sure it's a completely, totally, charred piece of carrot because, as I told chat, it's the only round thing that I've cooked recently.

I used the flash and the 4x macro lens to get the detail to show. Not the most attractive photo, but it's hard to get artsy with a burned carrot.
