These blue shoes seem to suit me well

When I feel like hell

As I do now that you're gone

Lost and lonely since you stopped carin'

I've been wearing my new shoes

I've been wearing my blue shoes

You and I made the perfect pair

It don't seem fair

I loved you more than you know

Sorry I'm in such a sorry state

But while I wait for some good news

I'll be wearing my blue shoes

Don't feel like walking strong

Shufflin' along on my way home

Trudgin' down that shopping street

Where we used to meet

But I ain't buying

I'm wearing my blue shoes and crying

These blue shoes seem to suit my soul

Since you shot that hole

Shot that hole in my heart

And if I wind up on the sidewalk bleeding

I won't be needing my new shoes

Won't be needing my blue shoes

These blue shoes seem to suit me well

When I feel like hell

As I do now that you're gone

Lost and lonely since you stopped caring

I've been wearing my new shoes

I found this action figure wedged in the sand.

Hallie Tosis is a crocodile I made from a garlic press, table leaf hardware, and couplings.

Put up here on Flickr with her permission. She has a magic touch and has helped make our whole apartment a lot like this. Thank you Maryann!!

An homage to Joseph Cornell work titled; "A Parrot for Juan Gris" (1953). Which itself is an homage to Jaun Gris's artwork "The Man at the Café" (1914). Building upon the 2 other works I decided to bring a half man / half robot into the fold hinting that the next homage will be done by A.I.

i don't really know (remember) from which magazine or weekly that i cropped this from nor have any idea of who wrote it or when. I would imagine that it was either in the NME; Melody Maker; or maybe even Rolling Stone... It probably dates from around the early 80s -going by the other clippings that were filed alongside it. If anybody knows who wrote this; let me know.

An old fan on an ammo box in front of an abstract painting, not really a still-life, but too good to pass up!

Seashells bonded together and eventually washed up on shore as a mini-sculpture.

It grinds them up, from cradle to grave.

A sculpture that I saw when I last visited our local art center. It is an unusual use of found objects and I am unsure of the symbolism intended. My other thought was that the crutches could be better repurposed by giving them to an agency where they could be distributed to clients in need.

Happy Fence Friday - I have no idea what this is but it looked creepy enough to get my attention
