Checking through my photo folder, I found this one. it remind me of the Sepang F1 circuit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The circuit no longer host F1 race. The last/final race here was held on 29/9 - 1/10/2017

I recently bought the Ferrari Garage LEGO set, for the 250GTO. It is pretty good, but it was the 312t4 which took most of my attention. It was good looking, but ill-proportioned.
Original 312t4 is an odd-looking ground effect car. With its double-decker front, very low sides and rectangular body, it has this "ugly but effective" vibe, which was - to me - somewhat lost in LEGO version.
I tried to fix it. It ended up being a bit more than add a plate here and there and fix some proportions. Eventually I built the little car from scratch and gave up trying to fit entire minifig inside, it just made the upper section too wide. It still is too wide, to be honest, but seems to be a reasonable compromise.
All the stickers are taken from the original set, just recut and placed more appropriately.

Alternate model of Creator set 5867. Formula 1 cars are already a pain to build in LEGO due to their aerodynamic and slick looks. Limiting yourself to 1 set only, makes it even harder. But that's the fun and challenge, so here's the result. Again the floor had to be built upside down to accommodate for the rest of the SNOT work. More at: mocpages.com/moc.php/224320

It's been six months since I finished my last MOC, but I'm finally back with my latest Formula 1 car. This is my scale model of the 2017 Ferrari F1 car which is being driven by Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen (I've also built the 2014, 2015, and 2016 Ferraris previously).
Just like the real racecar, this one is longer and wider than previous year's cars. It also has more intricate aero bits - an angled front wing, a slanted rear wing, bigger barge boards, a shark fin, and the controversial T-wing.
I really like the design of this year's F1 cars - they look so much more aggressive than before. Thus, I enjoyed building this car quite a bit. The sidepods or side air intakes were challenging to build, but it was extremely satisfying when it finally came together.
Thanks for visiting, and I hope it's not another six months until I post another MOC!
