ENGLISCH:
This Maîtreforêt F-120 Skidder / Forwarder from 1991 has 120 kW / 163 hp power.
Overall width 3 m. Empty weight 12 tons and payload 10 tons.
In the rear are a support shield and two 4 ton winches to draw near tree trunks.
On his back is a clamping bar with two crescent thighs (yellow) to skidd (pull behind on) tree trunks up to 16 tons.
The crane in the middle of the vehicle has a capacity of 1.6 tons at 8.5 m. The gripper is equipped with a saw that is protected in a red housing.
This 1:87 vehicle is a kit bashing from two Siku diecast models. In the middle of the length of the vehicle, I installed an articulated connection. I have given the crane plenty of detail.
Gripper’s saw, clamping bar, winches and support shield as well as the branch protection in the front are all self made. The crane, the clamping bar and the support are fully movable.

Este vehículo 1:87 es una mezcla de dos modelos de hierro fundido Siku. En medio de la longitud del vehículo, instalé una conexión articulada. Le he dado muchos detalles a la grúa.

Greifersäge, Klemmbalken, Winden und Stützschild sowie der Astschutz vorne sind selbst gefertigt. Das Knickgelenk, der Kran, die Klemmbalken und das Stützschild sind beweglich.

This very strange looking truck has a very special function: it's used for digging up and transporting live trees with a trunk diameter of up to 35 cm, using the hydraulic spades seen on the ring. Once free of the ground, the whole contraption is tilted, the truck goes to the new location and the tree is replanted.
This technique was developed in the US back in the 1960s, but has only recently started to gain momentum in Europe. In 1987 the Copenhagen-based company Nordisk Træflyt (literally meaning "Nordic Tree Removal and Tree Care") pioneered the method in Denmark and are now operating all over the country, as well as Sweden, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands (Holland), France and Spain. Typical uses can be a major roadwork that would normally necessitate cutting down existing trees, but using this method, trees can be temporarily removed and replanted once work has been completed. Another recent use was when the city of Aarhus planted trees on Bispetorvet in the city centre to create a temporary forest.
The truck was a used-import back in 2014, so probably not many of these weird contraptions around... yet.
Going down the steep hill leading northeast into Aarhus. The motorway ends by Åhavevej in Viby. From here, the trucks can continue straight on to Marselis Boulevard across Skanderborgvej before ending at the port of Aarhus, 6 km from here.

This is a dry bulk cargo vessel taking on wood chips in Antwerp. Chips are bought and sold like any other commodity such as oil, soybeans, coal, etc. Wood chips have taken on a growing significance as European power companies scramble to lock down multi-year supplies to power clean electric plants in the EU. With stricter emissions standards the EU is forcing power generators to blend coal with cleaner burning wood pellets and chips. This produces lower carbon emissions and allows EU power companies to reduce emissions without making massive and costly changes to their power facilities.
