A typical day like so many, the Ford Hauler has just arrived from St. Paul Yard and the crew has gone inside to get another cup of coffee and BS with the yard job before putting their outbound together and heading back. The day hauler seemed like a pretty cake job, likely requiring high seniority. The plant closed in 2012 and everything here's been bulldozed to make way for condos.

I arrived too late to catch the mist though a light haze remained which, coupled with the frost still resisting the sun, gave me a pleasing enough scene.
Our recent few days in London were great but this is much more me, quiet isolation with the time and a place to reflect.
This old Ford belongs to my son-in-law and reminded me about Truck Thursdays as it stared me down in the driveway during our visit to Portland, OR.

The bumper machine based on the principle of the Rapid and Empire was sold very badly in the USA. The production was discontinued shortly after 1895.
In Germany the Ford typewriter was sold by the sewing machine factory Adolf Knoch, Saalfeld under the name Knoch.
In France by the company Ets. Hurtu, E. Dilligeon & Cie., Paris under the name Hurtu.

Abandoned Ford F100 cab rusting in a coulee in an old farmstead. House burned here some time ago, but this was an interesting composition, complete with its own hood, crushed, behind it. This one is interesting - the front and rear glass are still intact.
