Aerosmith- Walk This Way!
www.youtube.com/watch?v=4c8O2n1Gfto
Now there's a backseat, lover
That's always undercover
And I talk 'til my daddy say
Said you ain't seen, nothin'
Til you're down on the muffin
And there's sure to be a change in ways
Now there's a cheer, leader
That's a real big, pleaser
As far as I can reminisce
But the best thing, love it
Was her sister and her, cousin
And it started with a little kiss, like this
She starts, swingin'
With the boys in, tune
And her feet just fly up in the air
Singin' hey diddle diddle with a kitty in the middle
And they swingin' like it just don't care
So I took a big, chance
At the high school, dance
With a lady who was ready to play
It wasn't me she was, foolin
'Cause she knew what was she was, doin'
When she told me how to walk this way
She told me to
Walk this way!
Talk this way!
Walk this way!
Talk this way!
She told me to
Walk this way!
Talk this way!
Walk this way!
Talk this way!
Well just gimme a kiss!
Ooh, a-like this!
School girl, sleazy
With a, classy kind of sassy
Little skirt hangin' way up her knee
There were three young ladies In the school gym, locker
And they find they were lookin'
I was high school, loser
Never made it with a, lady
Til a boy told me somethin' I missed
That my next door, neighbor
Had a daughter, had a favor
And I gave the girl a little kiss, like this
She starts swingin' with the boys in the school
With her feet flyin' up in the air
Singing hey diddle diddle with a kitty in the middle
I was swingin' like I didn't care
So I took a big chance at the high school dance
With a missy who was ready to play
Wasn't me she was foolin' 'cause she knew what she was doin'
When she told me how to walk this way
She told me to
Walk this way!
Talk this way!
Walk this way!
Talk this way!
She told me to
Walk this way!
Talk this way!
Walk this way!
Talk this way!
Well just gimme some head!

On the occasion of his birthday, here's my feeble attempt at honoring the timeless works of Ansel Adams.
This clearing storm over Yosemite Valley, shot Sunday morning, from Tunnel View.
Shot at 3:27am...that's right, we ain't foolin'. It was so cold, I couldn't get from my truck to the view wall before my hands were frozen up (w/2 pairs gloves even).
Lens is the 35mm on the 645Z. Moonlight did the rest.
First stop looking for herons they fooled me & weren't around. Next stop I found three. They were spaced just a little too far apart to get all three in the frame. Turned around & went back to first location.
Found two there this time.

Dream on, though it's hard to tell,
though you're foolin' yourself, dream on!
Dream on, you can hide away,
there is nothing to say, so dream on!

Just foolin' around with PS. Although the spirit and feel of this one has nothing to do with holidays I want to wish you all a merry Christmas.
Well, I finally did the hike down to the bottom of Bryce Canyon. I kept putting it off, and putting it off, I still remember the hike back up on my trip here 7 years ago. Though this is nothing compared to my hike up Grand Canyon last week, still the endless switchbacks are tedious. Add to that, a heavy camera bag, and the fact that the elevation is over 8000 feet here, leaving me gasping for Oxygen the entire way up. Turns out, I found a much more gradual, enjoyable path up this time. I dropped down quick, on the obnoxious switchbacks. But instead of coming up the same way, I wandered around for a couple of miles through the Queens Garden, which was absolutely spectacular. Then, I came up a different path which meandered up fairly slowly, with lots of photo ops along the way. It ended up at Sunrise point, about a half mile from where I started.
I just can't stress enough how spectacular Bryce Canyon is. It's such a shame that most Americans don't appreciate the beauty that we have here. I can count on one hand how many of my friends have been to Bryce. Most of my friends have visited Europe. I haven't yet. I want to finish this country first. I still have two states, and a couple of dozen National Parks I haven't seen. There's nothing else quite like Bryce in the entire world. Just walking around the park, I would guess that 80% of the people there, were visiting from Europe. I heard more different languages than I even knew existed. One thing that amazes me about the Europeans that I meet on my travels, is how well they can speak English. Just from people I got into conversations with at the park this week. I met people from Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Belgium, Poland, Norway, Portugal... To name a few. They would be speaking a language I didn't even recognize, and then they would talk to me in perfect English. The only ones who don't speak good English are the ones from England. They have a funny accent, and use all kinds of weird expressions. Anyway, I was impressed by that. As opposed to the Mexicans who come here, and live here for 20 years, and still don't bother learning a word of English. There is my politically incorrect rant of the day.

Yep, I’m still foolin' around with the trial version of the new Topaz Impression software, one of the latest products designed to transform a digital image into something that looks like a painting. As others have mentioned, the pricing seems a bit steep for what it does, at US$99.99 ($74.99 on special through September). But it's extremely easy to use, offers a range of control, and produces some pretty nice painterly results, in my opinion. I haven’t yet decided whether to purchase it.
Here you see an impressionistic version of some Rudbeckia shot at Chicago Botanic Garden last week. I’m submitting it for the Our Daily Challenge “Fresh” theme, because this software represents a fresh approach to painterly image processing for me.
I want a little sugar
In my bowl
I want a little sweetness
Down in my soul
I could stand some lovin'
Oh so bad
I feel so funny and I feel so sad
I want a little steam
On my clothes
Maybe I can fix things up
So they'll go
Whatsa matter Daddy
Come on, save my soul
I need some sugar in my bowl
I ain't foolin'
I want some sugar in my bowl...

Wood Stork - Florida Wetlands - Palm Beach County U.S.A.
Very Large Colony/Flock ~ New Stork City ~ Spring 2019
~~~~~~~~ Big Florida Birds - In The Wild ~~~~~~~~~~
The wood stork is a large American wading bird in the stork family. It appears all white on the ground, with blackish-gray legs and pink feet. In flight, the trailing edge of the wings is black. The head is dark brown with a bald, black face, and the thick down-curved bill is dusky yellow. Juvenile birds are a duller version of the adult, generally browner on the neck, and with a paler bill. The bare head and the long bill, which can measure up to ten inches in length, render the wood stork distinctive from other large waders in its range.
Just foolin' around... I combined the goat with a shot I had of this prickly plant, mainly because I was running out of time for finding something to put together for Sliders Sunday and had to come up with something that was quick and easy. Both shots taken in the Core Madera, CA Marsh.
Lovin' you has got to be
(Take Me To The Other Side)
Like the devil in the deep blue sea
(Take Me To The Other Side)
Forget about your foolish pride
(Take Me To The Other Side)
Oh take me to the other side
(Take Me To The Other Side)
My mama told me there'd be days like this
And man she wasn't foolin'
'Cause I just can't believe the way you kiss
You opened up your mouth with bated breath
You said you'd never leave me
You love me, you hate me,
I tried to take the loss
You're cryin' me a river but I got to get across
Lovin' you has got to be
(Take Me To The Other Side)
Like the devil in the deep blue sea
(Take Me To The Other Side)
Forget about your foolish pride
(Take Me To The Other Side)
Oh take me to the other side
(Take Me To The Other Side)
I'm lookin' for another kind of love
Oh Lordy, how I need it
The kind that likes to leap without a shove
Oh honey, best believe it
To save a lot of time and foolish pride
I'll say what's on my mind, girl
You love me, you hate me,
You cut me down to size
You blinded me with love and,
yeah, it opened up my eyes
Lovin' you has got to be
(Take Me To The Other Side)
Like the devil and the deep blue sea
(Take Me To The Other Side)
My conscience got to be my guide
(Take Me To The Other Side)
Oh honey, take me, take me, take, take, take, take
Take me to
The Other Side
I'm lookin' for another kind of love
Oh, Lordy, how I need it
The kind that likes to leap without a shove
Honey, you best believe it
Now I ain't one for saying long goodbyes
I hope all is forgiven
You loved me, you hate me,
I used to be your lover
You know you had it coming, girl
So take me to The Other Side
Take me to The Other Side,
take me to The Other Side
Lovin' you has got to be
(Take Me To The Other Side)
Like the devil and the deep blue sea
I had to post this one -- Raymond [who we came to know] approached us saying, "I'm black but I won't attack!" Obviously intoxicated, he wasted no time in grabbing Leah and doing The Salsa dance with her. After awhile we decided to leave, but he was fun. I even saw him next weekend when I was outside of a party and he remembered me and Leah!
Had a fun night around Saint Louis, MO foolin around with my new SB-600, SB-800, and my friend Leah.
Dear everyone,
Just a few words to let you know that I'm seriously working on the pigeon problem. Plan A seems to have failed, but plan B is on its way.
