The Leavenworth Schools utilize this building which, based on the side view, is clearly an old store.
At first glance, the rounded roof might lead one to think, "Safeway," but the view on Bing.com, here,
does not look like a Safeway from the air.

I don't believe I recall this being a store, from earliest memory, meaning, it's not been a store since 1981, I would say.
I could be wrong. If it was an active store in 1981, I don't recall it. I think it's been NOT a store far longer than it was a store.
This was plainly a food store of the mid- to late-fifties, but is now nicely repurposed as a sort of Student Center or something, for Rockhurst University.
