Food and Shelter little bird and his friend camped out by the bird seed for a long time, about 8 inches over night as you can tell and still snowing, shot in North Carolina.

I don't photograph buildings much but this week's theme inspired me to seek some hard edges. This is a busy food hall in Singapore's financial district - so many really good food options and a cool looking building.
I saw a stream of mopeds and cycles with food delivery bags/boxes streaming out of a trading estate in Woodford, so there's a dark kitchen somewhere on the site.
I've not seen this type of fat small wheeled electric bike before (there were several) but it seems to be a popular choice.
If you've not come across dark kitchens before here's an explanation:

Ok... it is actually what you are thinking! 😅
We were spending the afternoon at home chit-chatting about nonsense as usual and listening to very good music when Adam's belly growled, unhappy bear style, I mean, it literally screamed and scared me. We didn't see the time pass, the man was HUNGRY! And I knew the minutes were counted before hungry turned into hangry...
So I jumped on the phone, dialed the delivery place and started to happily order when my gaze met his and he was shaking his hands, trying to gesture something...
it was either " more more more, and a burger, a very big one" or he was attempting to mimic that very strange dance that he does when he has 5 Rums in his system...
God knows!
So I listened to the man and ordered us a freaking feast!
All was good, the mood uplifted until, while putting it all on the table, we realized there was only one portion of french fries and not two...
Then the chaos started and all I could remember was this crazy one screaming at the top of his lungs :
" DON'T TOUCH MY FOOD WOMAN! "
I don't recall it all after that, I just know that he got the fries and didn't share them at all, not even one... 😭

I spent a lot of mornings and evenings to get one of this images. Although not satisfied with the cropping I had to do, but at least the image came out fine. Yeah, I know I always complain, but man, so much time spent to get a green background. Fortunately they faced in the direction of the camera.

Don't see Mother raccoon out during the day often; only when she needs food so she can return to the babies and be able to feed them. When the young ones were old enough to venture out, I saw she had been caring for 4 babies. No wonder she looked so ragged!

This young Barn Swallow (Hirundo rustica) was requesting food on a sailboat in Bronte Harbour, Oakville, Ontairo.
Every year our fire department and food bank drive past every house in town to collect canned food.
Last year for some reason, they drove by so fast we couldn't get outside to give them food. This year, they stopped out front and passed food to a food bank van. The Grand-kids loved it!
I was talking to a volunteer and he said they thought this would be the last year the old firetruck would go out. They just can't find parts to keep it running.
As a kid, the Fire Department would come to our school in this very truck and take all the students on a field trip to the fire station. That was 53yrs ago for me.. Happy we got to see it running another year.
