A quite lavish brochure aimed at the North American market and issued, as was common at the time, by the co-operative marketing efforts of the Associated British & Irish Railways - an organisation set up int he mid-1930s to coordinate the marketing of the "Big Four" British railways along with their Irish counterpart and their various associated companies.
The text is by Lynn Doyle and the very stylish cover is by "M" - Reginald Mayes. This folder was one of an annual series of editions - sadly the 1939/40 series was the last for obvious reasons for many years. It describes the travel opportunites in Ireland, both north and south, as well as promoting the various railway owned ferry services for onward journeys to Great Britain and beyond.

Using a ‘folder and insert’ format for your marketing literature gives you an additional flexibility and longevity. The folders can be used either with or without inserts, enabling you to produce information packs tailored to a clients specific requirements. Producing a series of inserts enables you to either remove or add to the ‘library’ of inserts depending on your needs.
