First tiles, now this!!!! The tile for this was from the sunlight hitting the foam insert of my Pelican case that I opened to get out the macro lens to shoot the seed pods. One of those just happens moments.

I was lucky enough to get a whole bunch of vouchers for a high street camera shop - so I spent them on this case, not something I'd ordinarily have bought - but I figured it would be ideal for trips away to keep stuff super safe... It took a bit of faffing to sort out the foam & placement, but so far so good... (it is a little heavy - fingers crossed no one weighs it at the airport!)
Since the local hobby store didn't have foam tyre inserts for my wheels, I had to DIY again.
I bought a 10cm x 1m strip of medium density foam and cut it up into the required widths and lengths. Wrap the strips around the rims and voila, DIY foam inserts. Just 10 minutes effort and only 50c for materials.
Since the commerical stuff comes in pairs, to purchase a set would be 2x $16.95!
I was highly amused to see someone had stuck a foam sole insert on a window. I'm easily pleased.
