Following the withdrawal of Ciywing’s Isle of Man service, Eastern Airways operated between Belfast and Ronaldsway and to Newcastle. The latter on behalf of Flybe. The services were not the most punctual and ceased after the 2018 TT races. Jetstream 41 (G-MAJC) is arriving from Newcastle. 5 January 2018.

Stobart Air Embraer ERJ-190 (EI-GHK) arriving from London City - the first used on the route. 2 December 2019. “Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, is increasing capacity at peak times on its popular London City flights from George Best Belfast City Airport when demand from the business community is particularly high. Starting on 1st December as part of its 2019-20 Winter schedule, a 98-seat E190 aircraft sourced from Connect Airways’ partner, Stobart Air, will operate the enhanced service” - Flybe press release.
