Daffodils, narcissen.

It may have been raining but what a joy to see these in the park.

Another from a couple days ago. No textures this time. Hope they withstand the snow blanket on them tonight. I love crocuses..wish they were around all summer.

X We are having a very unusually hot and dry summer in England . In the last 37 days it has rained just once on my garden . Temperatures of about 32 C, I know are not that hot by some people standards but English homes are designed to keep people warm and dry rather than cool. Air conditioning is rare in homes and businesses sadly. You have probably gathered that I am looking forward for some cool english rainy weather , Mary however is a reptile and appears to enjoy the heat.

The Garden is struggling in spite of my efforts to keep it at least reasonably watered I prefer grass to look green rather than biscuit coloured but have given up on the lawn completely .

This flower is a fiery red Schizostylis coccinea or Kaffir Lily I did not venture out into Hull’s version of Death Valley today so this is a shot from October 2015

THANKS FOR YOUR VISITING BUT CAN I ASK YOU NOT TO FAVE AN IMAGE WITHOUT ALSO MAKING A COMMENT. MANY THANKS KEITH
