Headed over to the Des Plaines river with my good freidn Mark Baldwin this afternoon. We took a chance on trying to get a sunset. I had not been to this place before, so didn't know what to expect and given the weather, had low expectations, though when Mark told me there was a water fall, I figured regardless of the weather, there was a change of some good shots of the waterfall.

View of the front of Flow Memorial Hospital, probably taken from atop the Carroll Courts Building. Note the modernistic sculpture in front of the building. This was demolished when the building was torn down. Denton was so proud of its new hospital, when it opened in 1949. A sad fate awaited the institution when it closed in the late 1980's. It had become obsolete.
