Fourth shot with Blanche-Neige in her little lake!

Shot that I absolutely adore... I think one of my favorite shots in a while! Something about the crazy flow or movement... I dunno, there's something about it that just really hits me!

PS. This is an automatic post so please tag the participants for me !

An outdoor outlet saved this shoot since my Vagabond II died

This time of year is a great opportunity to work on some seascape photography, since all the foliage is off the trees, and there is still no snow on the ground, leaving everything looking pretty dead looking. This scene is from early morning in New Castle, NH. The only problem with shooting on the coast in November is how cold it is!

This spot is popular with ice climbers. A small, narrow canyon with 3-sided steep 80 foot walls exists in Crosby Farm Park in Saint Paul. The water flowing down the bluff that likely formed this canyon creates spectacular ice flows when the weather conditions are right.

The view over the islands of Cava (now uninhabited & in the foreground) and Flotta - from up on Houton Head. I particularly liked that morning winter sky.

This is a mere glimpse of Scapa Flow overall - which has an amazing long-term history -

L’art et la manière d’aborder son chef de service pour lui demander une augmentation.

This flow chart, designed by Georges Perec, describes the etiquette of asking your boss for a payrise. The many possible routes through the chart all end in disappointment. This work has been performed successfully both as a radio play and on stage. The drama arises from the passage of time. With every pass through the chart, the characters get older. At the outset the hero may have no children, but after a few failed attempts to claim Mr X's attention, he may find himself increasingly frustrated and with a large family to support. How will the story end?

36/366: Water Flow

A composite of two photographs showing the rapid water flow at Stone Creek last weekend. I used a long exposure technique to show the movement of the water in the photograph and add depth and motion. It was sunset and the lighting was beautiful. This is one of my favorite local places to shoot photos.
