Was hoping to get some fall colors over the weekend, only to find out it was a bit too early. Well, gotta shoot something - and this is the something :-)

There is sometimes too much and sometimes too little in the photo, and the eye wants it to be just right.
Yesterday I bought fresh grapes at the weekly market. This morning, I was looking forward to a healthy Saturday breakfast and washed the grapes. Just when I wanted to eat the first grape, I thought - stop -! That may be something for HSoS theme - let it flow -. So I picked up my tripod and the remote, took the focus and the settings of the camera and go, let it flow :-)

Third Burroughs Peak along with the long tall range with the same name was formed by an ancient lava flow pinned between two glaciers. They must have been massive, and if you blow this up and check the link in comments to a tight shot, you'll see what an excellent sculptor Mum Nature is.

I composed this small view landscape last year at the mystically named Prussia Cove and it was virtually the last shot of my family holiday. It all seems like a long time ago now and I have to wonder - along with everyone else - when our next holiday will be. However, that pales into insignificane considering all those key workers putting their lives on the line every day.

Photography of a friend of mine, sitting on the edge of the world, contemplating the immensity of the sea. His mind flows like water, letting go of worries and finding peace in the present moment. Let yourself be carried away by the flow of life, without resistance, without fear, without doubt. Flow like water, which adapts to any shape and follows its path effortlessly. I have titled this photograph “Flowing Like Water” because, after all, water flows like our minds when we need a moment of calm.
