Third Burroughs Peak along with the long tall range with the same name was formed by an ancient lava flow pinned between two glaciers. They must have been massive, and if you blow this up and check the link in comments to a tight shot, you'll see what an excellent sculptor Mum Nature is.

Lower Ball's Falls thundering away early this past spring. So much flow, I didn't even bother going to the upper falls for safety reasons, not to mention the amount of mist I would have had to work with on my camera.
