The center petals of this flower were not quite ready to show off their inner beauty. The image reminded me of fireworks of the floral variety.

One of my favourite photographic subjects, glory bush, Tibouchina urvilleana. The flower is past its prime having lost one petal already but the wonderful curved stamens remain.
