This is my lovely dilute tort floof who loves to roll around in my breafast nook letting the sun warm her belly (which thankfully she also likes rubbed) and sometimes she gets so excited she literally falls off the metal part here. She also has the sweetest little meow that sounds more like a dolphin purring. We are getting into the prime season for cat affection...weather is getting colder and all cats want lap time. It's a great time to be a cat lover!

Looking back at some older photos, I came across this one of Bandit and Taiga. Taiga was just a pup and didn't even have all her floof yet.

These recent picture bring back so many memories of COLD days!
The family was up by Red Feathers Lake to cut firewood firewood, and I was struggling to take this photo between gusts of wind intent on blowing this ‘floof’ away in a cloud of snow.
Not quite sure the species of plant, but I would be curious to know.

Five and a half years ago today, a shelter volunteer put Floki in my arms and I knew immediately that he had chosen me. It was one of the best moments of my life! That would make Floki six years old today and I’ll always be so thankful that I have such a perfect, sweet little man in my life.

Floki is six years old already! I first held him when he was six months old and I’ve been so lucky to have this sweet little soul in my life.

The boys were extremely chill. I love to see them so relaxed & happy! Ivar was extra warm with the blanket and Floki on top of him. He didn’t seem to mind one bit.

I have to agree. Every cat is purrfection!
The sun has been out lately and the kitties are taking full advantage of it.
These three give us so much love and laughs. It overwhelms me sometimes when I realize just how much they mean to me.
This morning all three snuggled with me in bed for an hour. If there’s another level above heaven, I was in it.
Floki was very relaxed after getting brushed and let his belly air out for a while. He’s always soft & fluffy, but brushing him takes that soft floofiness to an entire new level!
We call one of our extra bedrooms the Kitty Room because it’s pretty much just for the kitties. It’s also the room that gets the most sun throughout the day, which makes it perfect for them. Our sweeties hang out in it a lot when it’s sunny.
You can barely see her, but Hazel is on the chair behind Floki, all curled up & sleeping. Floki had just enough room to lay by her and didn’t seem to mind having to hang his leg off the edge.
We got some new blankets that are really soft & fluffy, which made for an excellent place for Floki to watch ducks at the feeder. They came around a lot today and were about two dozen strong a few times!

While I would certainly survive, I definitely would not thrive without these three in my life. I love traveling, but too long without them leaves me aching for home.

He’s such a little lover but if you move when he doesn’t want you to, he won’t be gentle letting you know that he’s displeased. We adore our sweet little Floki so much!

He was sitting on my neighbour's balcony and having a nice preening session. As he mostly feeds on my raisins he didn't mind me taking pictures of it.
Hazel’s shelter name was Bindy. Almost four years later, we adopted Floki and his shelter name was Bondy. These two were truly meant to be together!
The kitties always love when we change the bedding each weekend, immediately laying on it when it’s done. Today it was especially nice with the sun coming in. They really know how to enjoy the simple things in life (which are often the best things)!

Floki often sleeps on my pillows, wrapped around my head. When I get up, he’ll sometimes stay on them for a while, relaxing and living life to its fullest.
They were only sitting like this for a minute and I was very happy to be able to get a capture of them doing it. I also love that the photos above the fireplace all made it in the shot. It’s the only way we can get all 8 of our sweet fur babies in a photo.
