De Metrans 386 030 werd al vroeg gemeld in raum Hamm met als bijzonderheid de lading achter de lok. Het zou gaan om een zending prefab elementen van Goldbeck AG waarvan ik geen idee had hoe zich dat zou uiten in een containertrein. Na wat zoekwerk besloot ik de trein in Mehrhoog op te wachten en we zien het geheel hier dan ook passeren langs het wuivende graanveld. De lading is goed zichtbaar in de Goldbeck Flatracks wat deze trein toch wel een extraatje geeft. Mehrhoog 17-05-2018.

Leyland DAF Medium Mobility Load Carrier (MMLC) – DROPS truck, an 8 x 6 logistics vehicle designed to carry demountable flatracks, pallets, containers, and other general loads. It is part of the DROPS (Demountable Rack Offload and Pickup System) fleet. Built by Leyland Daf in 1991 or 1992, the fleet of MMLC DROPS vehicles were all built from 1990 to 1994. Retirement from service began in 2007 in favour of the MAN SV (Support Vehicle) fleet from 2007 onward although some vehicles survived until 2010. The above was seen at the Longcross MoD facility as was.

Various updates to the chassis. This time sporting some NATO 3-Color Woodland. This is my first time doing any kind of non-rainbow camo, so criticism is appreciated. The design is about where I want it, so with a bit of luck, I can finally get the ball rolling on getting this thing built.

I also finally resolved a problem I had with POVRAY, so hopefully I can be able to regularly upload render pics of some projects.
