Image taken during a hike in the amazing Borgarfjördur Eystri in North East Iceland. The graveled road that leads into the secluded Fjord can be seen. Borgarfjördur is famous for its hiking trails, but it also is the home of the Queen of the Icelandic Elves!
While traveling around Kvaløya island, we came across this beautiful scenery.
Kvaløya, aka as "Whale Island", is an island in the Norwegian municipality of Tromsø.
Kvaløya is a mountainous island, with at least ten mountains higher than 2,300 ft and three reaching an elevation of more than 3,300.
There are also several small fjords, almost dividing the island in two or three parts: Kaldfjorden, Ersfjorden, and Kattfjorden.

A silent evening by the Hjørundfjord at Sunnmore. The fjord runs like a giant canyon through mountainous alps. This is one of the world's most spectacular fjord, according to one of the visitors. In the end of the fjord you will find Øye. Øye has been a central location for the early tourist traffic to Norway since the end of the 1800s and first 1900s. This is a good starting point for mountain hikes. Here you will also find the famous hotel Union. The hotel stands in its former splendor and looks like it did when it opened in 1891. A few years ago the hotel got the award "one of the worlds 12 most exciting hotels ."
Ein stiller Abend am Hjørundfjord bei Sunnmore. Der Fjord verläuft wie eine riesige Schlucht durch bergige Alpen. Laut einem der Besucher ist dies einer der spektakulärsten Fjorde der Welt. Am Ende des Fjords finden Sie Øye. Øye war seit Ende des 18. und Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts ein zentraler Ort für den frühen Touristenverkehr nach Norwegen. Dies ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Bergwanderungen. Hier finden Sie auch das berühmte Hotel Union. Das Hotel steht in seiner alten Pracht und sieht aus wie bei seiner Eröffnung im Jahr 1891. Vor einigen Jahren erhielt das Hotel die Auszeichnung „eines der 12 aufregendsten Hotels der Welt“.

Este es uno de los fiordos más espectaculares del mundo, según uno de los visitantes. Al final del fiordo encontrarás Øye. Øye ha sido una ubicación central para el tráfico turístico temprano a Noruega desde finales de 1800 y principios de 1900. Este es un buen punto de partida para caminatas de montaña. Aquí también encontrará el famoso hotel Unión. El hotel se encuentra en su antiguo esplendor y luce como cuando se inauguró en 1891. Hace unos años, el hotel recibió el premio "uno de los 12 hoteles más emocionantes del mundo".

C'est l'un des fjords les plus spectaculaires du monde, selon l'un des visiteurs. Au bout du fjord vous trouverez Øye. Øye a été un lieu central pour le premier trafic touristique vers la Norvège depuis la fin des années 1800 et le début des années 1900. C'est un bon point de départ pour des randonnées en montagne. Vous y trouverez également le célèbre hôtel Union. L'hôtel se dresse dans son ancienne splendeur et ressemble à ce qu'il était lors de son ouverture en 1891. Il y a quelques années, l'hôtel a reçu le prix "l'un des 12 hôtels les plus passionnants au monde".
une distance entre nous, toujours en relation par de ténus liens, filaires, même si parfois il y a ces murs de grains, accepter les conséquences et les moments de tristesse qui parfois peuvent envahir, accepter cet abysse. La vie doit être vécue et non suspendue.

Hjørundfjord in the western part of Norway, runs like a giant canyon through mountainous landscape. As soon as I have free time for exceptional experiences, I seek out this area and climb up to one of these amazing peaks.

"Fjord Norway has its name from the many beautiful fjords. ... A fjord is a deep, narrow and elongated sea or lakedrain, with steep land on three sides. The opening toward the sea is called the mouth of the fjord, and is often shallow. The fjord's inner part is called the sea bottom.
Fjord’ is a Norwegian word that has gone international. It’s an ancient Viking term related to the phrase for ‘where you travel across’ (der man ferder over) and the word ‘ferry’ (ferje).
The fjords were created by massive glaciation that went below sea level. Over a period of 2.5 million years, the U-shaped valleys were carved out of the ground during a succession of glacial cycles. In other words, the fjords were shaped by the glaciers.”
