Several years ago, I connected with a family in Italy through Flickr. Over the years, Adriano, Elisabetta and Ricardo have been to the United States several times and we've been able to connect up with them in the real world, sharing hikes and meals and friendship. Well they have a new Australian Shepherd addition to their family named Sea. And despite being a young puppy, Sea saw fit to send Jasper a gift which he got to open last night. It's a soft bone constructed entirely of recycled materials making it good for his teeth as well as the planet. He's had such fun with it and it's a bit damp in the middle now 😜. Grazie Sea!

When it's a good fit for you and a dog, I think the important thing to them is more just to be with you than anything else. So it seemed with these two walking back to shore in the shallows after an evening paddle.
We had come here for a sunset shoot - only to find the clouds intensified despite a forecast of some clearing. Another couple there for the same reason commented that the previous two or three nights, it had been spectacular. Sigh! At least it was nice just to be outside on a warm evening.
This would fit perfect for HFF shot, but here is thursday and we don´t celebrate fences on friday... =P
This looks way way better on lightbox, so try it, you won´t regret it!

Rue Androuet, Montmartre.
Paris, March 2020
While walking through Montmartre on a Sunday, I came across a movie set. Rue Berthe and rue Androuet were transformed to Paris in 1942, during the German occupation. The next day I returned and witnessed a number of film recordings. In between the shots I had the opportunity to take some pictures on the set. The tricky part is that you always have people in the frame who do not fit into the era. Fortunately, thanks to some patience, I was able to photograph the actors among the beautiful old cars from that time.
By carefully studying the World War II color photographs, I was able to apply the color grading to create the beautiful Agfacolor atmosphere.
