Le pouillot fitis est un pouillot typique, de petite taille et élancé. Ses parties supérieures sont grises, vertes ou brunes, alors que ses parties inférieures sont blanchâtres et jaunes. Il est reconnaissable à son sourcil jaunâtre ou blanc, avec une bande verte traversant l'œil située en dessous. Ses pattes sont rosâtres-brun ou jaune-brun et son bec est fin, avec des bords plus clairs. Il mesure entre 11 et 12,5 cm pour un poids de 6,3 à 14,6 g.
Il ressemble beaucoup au Pouillot véloce, généralement plus petit et moins élancé, ainsi qu'au Pouillot ibérique et au Pouillot siffleur. Le chant est la meilleure manière de les distinguer.

My first 5 sighthounds (except Lady my first greyhound). Rhia, Fern, Kali, Charliy and number one special dog, Shasta. I'm amazed I managed to get them all together with a film camera, it's hard enough with 3!!! Fern is looking away, but that fits in with her character, she was always looking to run off :-)

While walking through Montmartre on a Sunday, I came across a movie set. Rue Berthe and rue Androuet were transformed to Paris in 1942, during the German occupation. The next day I returned and witnessed a number of film recordings. In between the shots I had the opportunity to take some pictures on the set. The tricky part is that you always have people in the frame who do not fit into the era. Fortunately, thanks to some patience, I was able to photograph the actors among the beautiful old cars from that time.
By carefully studying the World War II color photographs, I was able to apply the color grading to create the beautiful Agfacolor atmosphere.

We bought this scratching post/bed thing for Fyero about a year ago now and for the majority of the year she's ignored it. Couldn't be bothered with it.
Well, this past month she's changed her mind about it and has decided it is worthy of her time.
Glad she likes it now; it's cute seeing her sitting up on the platform judging the dog.
