Fish Eye lens with a 8-12 second exposure. Instead of covering the lens and using a tripod I decided to just run free and hold the camera in a steady position for a while then just move to another.
Something that I decided to try out with my D40x was to try and record the trail of the moon, looking at it from my back garden.
I used a fisheye lens, so the focus isnt quite right. I would like to try more like this with a film camera so I can take exposures going into hours and not have to worry about the battery running out. Maybe coastal moonrise photos along the same lines as Michael Kenna's work.
I'm really impressed by the latest version of DxO Optics Pro. It not only corrected the fisheye distortion but took care of all the noise and sharpening.
