I was walking by the CTown Fire Station the other day and Lt. Burbank called me over. He'd just gotten the new 5D mark II and wanted to show me. A nice camera indeed! I had to give it back quickly so that I didn't grow attached.
This guy has so much camera equipment. It's crazy! I happened to have my camera with me and he let me try on a few of his lenses. This is a Sigma 8mm 3.5 I think. It's definitely 8mm, the aperture might be different. This just might be the next addition to my camera kit! :)
I'm not sure if the funky colors are a result of the lens, my haste in taking the photo and not checking any settings, or just that it was dark out and the fire house was kind of yellow inside. Still an awesome lens with 180º view. -covet-.
had to get a fisheye shot in while i was in such a cool looking place

Freshwater Beach. Taken using a Sigma 4.5mm fisheye lens. This lens shows a 180 degree field of view within a circular region.
A visual guide to creating equirectangulars using a fisheye lens, free stitching software, and a temporarily free Photoshop plugin for those interested in created stereographics (little planets).

*Note: This was shot using a Nodal Ninja pano head and tripod as well.
