I was told that these geraniums would attract butterflies. Now that the flowers have started blooming, I hope the butterflies will return soon.

The first geese of the season arrived in Fairbanks this year on March 29. It's the earliest arrival time on record. Some in the group might think it was a poor decision.

A small group of six Dark-eyed Juncos, all individually photographed in this series, arrived on October 26, 2022. The earliest arrival in a past year was on October 14, 2017.

Best viewed large. Really.

As I was waiting for the rest of my Red Cross group to arrive at the Astrodome, I took some photos of the first bus (the "renegade bus," according to media) that arrived. It was full of children - my best estimate is about 85% children. The side of the school bus said "Orleans Parish Schools." Truly heartbreaking.

A new student, at the start of his new phase in life at his first arrival.

This year I was (for the 3rd time) CREW-photographer during the Annual Introduction Days (AID) in Wageningen.

During these days the new students get their introduction to their study, student life and the city of Wageningen. This year a bit different than other years due some pademic. Less activities and two AID's instead of one to split up the large group.

This student just arrived as first of many at the special for these days built camping.

"Just getting off the plane and already asked for identification 😂😂😂, though only for getting his arm stuck in the exit. They had to report the incident and make sure he was alright, almost looks like he is getting handcuffed! Lol"
