I have posted this Fireball capture before in 2016 but that was a screen shot! It was very cool to see! The Barn is almost fallen down now in 2018 here its just leaning a little 2016

clouds hiding the sun looked like dragon catching the fireball...

The setting sun cradled in the skeletal remnant of last year's wildflower.

The sun was red as it came up over the horizon, but after several attempts I couldn't get a photo of the colour of the sun as it was. I then tried to edit the right colour onto the image, but that didn't work either. So I present to you the sun as a fireball as it was taken this morning.

Its a boring day as 930 has no crew to go south and so i am riding around with a good friend when we hear SNC 8524 two cars to a stop we storm to the Station and hear SNC 8524 to the dispatch we will be done in 10 minutes and then while later we hear Dispatch to snc 8524 you are clear to head north to the branch look for your light at CPC-33

American Ranch, Prescott, Arizona, August 2020.

It was late and immediately after making this photo I packed my gear and drove home. It was only the next day that I took the time to look at the photos I made. That's when I discovered a strange orange line on the top left of the image.

Was it a plane? No, that would show up as a line of dots and it wouldn't be such a long stripe on a picture with a 0.6 second exposure.

A satellite? No, same reasoning regarding the length of the line.

The only conclusion I could make is that I actually shot a meteor on its way through our atmosphere. That's a first one in my 25+ year photography career.

Oh yeah, there's also a train in the picture. We see Railtraxx' only leftover Traxx, 186 123, hauling a set of blue tankers to Ghent.

Philip and I had fun making some fireballs up Mynedd Bach, a local hill. Thanks to Jamie for spinning the sparks, we had a lot of fun :o)

Sun glows through the chemtrail haze in the desert of Arizona.

Interesting tree at sunset.

I saw this dramatic bloom in the tropical section of the Bristol Botanic Gardens about a year ago.

The unique and interesting landscapes at Valley of Fire State Park, just an hour from Las Vegas.

Fireball (possible late Taurid maybe, as it was coming from Taurus constellation) with faint atmospheric gravity waves on red airglow on the background. The bright spot on the left of the fireball is Jupiter. Saturn is visible as well.

When the sun becomes a fireball we can only admire this great natural show.

I may be using this for Sliders Sunday. I just took this about an hour ago. The Georgia sky was extraordinary, even without any processing.
