Street photography from Glasgow, Scotland.
Previously unpublished shot from January 2020. He just pulled up in front of me at the pedestrian crossing and I clicked the shutter. I loved all of the fingerprints on the window where his hand was resting. Enjoy!
This is a plate, from a visit to a pottery market, pre-Covid. Looking at it now, I wish I had bought it! I am pretty sure though I could not afford it, everything I liked was way too expensive.

In fact, the likelihood of two people sharing identical fingerprints is estimated to be less than one in 64 billion. This means it would likely take more than a million years for two people with identical fingerprints to appear by chance.......

This panel is part of a framework on the frontview of the cityhall of Deventer in the Netherlands.
Artist Loes ten Anscher designed the framework that consist out of 2.264 fingerprints (or part of those fingerprints) that belong to residents of Deventer.

today i didn't have to go to school because i woke up to SNOW SNOW SNOOOOW
and more snow :D
snow days are my favorite.
i didn't go outside at all, other than to take some pictures,
and i stayed in my pajamas alllll day :)
i'm a really lazy person.
yesterday was a really good day for me.
i had this old best friend that i was practically raised with,
and about a year ago we stopped talking, bascially for no reason,
and now we are. i went over to her house yesterday and we talked
for a while and caught up on some stuff, and watched a will ferrell movie :D
so that is that, and hopefully that is all settled.
the only music i listen to anymore is from Twilight.
i am such a loser.
OH AND HNFF!!!! YAYYY :D

Autumn views from Blue Ridge Parkway, part I 🍁
Recently, on a road trip to the Northeast for family matters, we had the opportunity to squeeze in a small diversion to the Blue Ridge Parkway on our trip back West. We got to trek the Plateau region of the Parkway, smack dab in the heart of Appalachia, and in the midst of the fall foliage season! ⛰
The day was off to a disappointing start with a skunked sunrise and a completely overcast sky (and not the kind of overcast that still has texture to it, of course ). So we walked a few trails, admired the many scenic overlook views, wandered into a small mountain town for lunch, and drove through one tree tunnel after the next painted with shades of reds, oranges, and yellows. 🍂
By late afternoon it was a completely different day, much to our delight. The clouds broke up and golden sunlight glazed across the landscape, bringing forth all the vivid color of autumn’s fingerprints on the mountains.
To be continued...
