The pilgrimage church of St. Bartholomä and the east face of the Watzmann mountain are reflected in the crystal-clear Königssee lake, showcasing the best autumn colors.

Die Wallfahrtskirche St. Bartholomä und die Watzmann-Ostwand spiegeln sich bei bester Herbst-Verfärbung im glasklaren Königssee.

Since a colorful sunset brings me into harmony with both myself and nature, I take the opportunity to experience this joy as often as possible. Each one follows the same pattern of nature, the yellow ball sinking into the horizon and then the sky bursting into incredible reds, golds, oranges that are awe inspiring. People line up at the shoreline, often with their loves, or their children, or like me, with my camera to get drawn into this momentary beauty.

Fuchsia is a genus of flowering plants that consists mostly of shrubs or small trees. The first to be scientifically classified, Fuchsia triphylla, was discovered on the Caribbean island of Hispaniola

Elegant Hindu shrines built in 700 AD . It is considered the finest early example of medieval southern Indian temple architecture. Unlike most of its neighbours at the site, it is built of cut stones rather than carved out of caves. It has two shrines, one dedicated to Shiva and the other to Vishnu. Its style is characterized by a pyramidal kutina-type tower that consists of stepped stories topped by a cupola and finial, a form quite different from the northern Indian sikhara. The Mamallapuram monuments and temples, including the Shore Temple complex, were collectively designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. Marco Polo and the European merchants who came to Asia after him called the site Seven Pagodas. One of these is believed to be the Shore Temple. Temple complex in the category of structural temples goes to the King Rajasimha (700–728 AD), also known as Narasimhavarman II, of the Pallava Dynasty. It is now inferred that this temple complex was the last in a series of temples that seemed to exist in the submerged coastline; this is supported by the appearance of an outline of its sister temples off the coast during the Tsunami of 2004 which struck this coastline.

Valencia is the third largest city in Spain. Valencia is located on the Costa del Azahar on the Mediterranean Sea and is considered the birthplace of paella, one of the most famous dishes in Spanish cuisine. Valencia is also known as the orange city. Valencia is Spain's third economic engine, after Madrid and Barcelona. Valencia was founded in 138 BC. under the name Valentia Edetanorum, by a Roman leader. Valencia has a Mediterranean climate with warm summers and very mild winters. Valencia, like the entire region of Valencia, is officially bilingual; they speak both Spanish and Valencian. Valencian is very closely related to Catalan. Spanish Valencia is more than beach and paella. The highlight that you do not want to miss are the modern buildings of Calatrava. The 'Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències' or 'the City of Arts and Sciences' is a cultural and scientific complex of seven special buildings designed by Calatrava and is located in the drained Turia River of Valencia. It includes Spain's finest aquarium L'Oceanographic, a planetarium, an IMAX theatre, a science museum and a striking event hall. This science park is definitely the number one attraction of Valencia!

The Science Museum - Ciències in Valencia presents scientific exhibitions that will surprise you from the moment you arrive. A Foucault pendulum hangs from the glass ceiling of the museum. This invention proves that the earth rotates on its own axis. The third floor is home to another major attraction: an array of flying machines, including a Mirage III, a reproduction of Gaspar Brunet's plane, which flew the first in Spain; and a model of an invention by Leonardo da Vinci. This is the great 21st century science museum to learn all about life, science and technology in a didactic, interactive and entertaining way. Full interactivity is one of its special features, with the motto: "Forbidden not to touch, not to feel, not to think". In order to generate a pleasant learning process in which the visitor always actively participates.

Detail of the family crypt for Valentin Blatz (1826 to 1894). Blatz purchased a brewery and later expanded the buildings until they covered more than four city blocks. In 1874, he produced Milwaukee’s first bottled beer. The company was incorporated in 1889 as the Valentin Blatz Brewing Company. Blatz was also prominent in banking, railroad promotion and real estate.

Had a hard time containing my excitement yesterday with all the amazing views!

This is but a short drive from where I have moved to and it's truly lovely to have somewhere to go in winter to photograph wildlife. This pup was pretty close to the viewing path and had just fed.

I took this photo at home in my mother's garden. While we had lunch it started to rain and added some decorative droplets to that beautiful blossom.

Have a great time and thank you for your comments.

Large group of elephants having an absolute BLAST in a local mud hole. It was pretty dry at Hluhluwe- Lmfolozi safari park. It badly needed much more rain, but these beautiful creatures were living in the moment and it was wonderful to see.

It was supremely hot! Elephants bathe in mud to cool down their bodies due to very few sweat glands. They struggle to regulate their temperature so the mud acts as a natural sunscreen, protecting their skin from the harsh sunlight while also providing a barrier against insects and parasites.

The Brooklyn Museum is one the finest art museums in the region with a nice collection of classic and modern art and definitely a must see if you ever visit New York City.

This is just to give you a tiny little idea of the magnificence of this city.

Now they bloom again on the window panes!

Rural Northamptonshire at its best.

One of the best views we had on our North Coast 500 tour. This is the small village Laid on Loch Eriboll. You´re looking into the North-Western Highlands. An underrated piece of scottish landscape. I have to come back, there.
