The Revera and Reel Youth Age is More Film Project is an intergenerational partnership between Revera, a Canadian leader in seniors' accommodation, care and services, and Reel Youth, a charitable project that empowers youth to create engaging films about important social issues. The partnership was launched in 2013.
With 80 films to date, the program celebrates older Canadians through story-telling and film, with the added benefit of fostering new intergenerational relationships. The project aims to shed light on ageism, challenge the assumptions of aging and recognize the valuable contributions of older adults to society.

We saw some planes buzzing overhead this weekend with a helicopter flying around them. Read in the paper today that Peter Jackson shot a WW1 film over the skies of Masterton this past weekend. The film will be part of an exhibit at the Australian War Memorial Museum in Canberra.
That fantastic film industry boon will mean a great many more chances for job from the less glamourous, supporting the scenes places, like set construction workers, and production assistants. These tasks might pave the procedure to a higher paying position. This job growth is likely to have a bearing on picture breeding and distribution, as increasingly the major studios embrace the reasoning behind DVD rentals and cable.
