A design classic that seems to be the VW beetle of the camera world. It just works with elegant engineering making this camera reliable and easy to service. This is the first version of the K1000 made in 1976 in Japan looking at the production numbers.

Still trying to make peace with a significant stash of defective film.
Have started shooting some through a pinhole camera to lean into the defects and imperfection. While I can live with the mottling seen here, I'm now getting the backing paper numbers and dots superimposed on the negatives. It's beginning to feel like a Sisyphean task to produce an image I'm excited about.
