These two drew the lucky straws.
This F-86H, serial number 53-1250, on display at Aronson Park in Lakeville, MN.
This aircraft saw active duty with the Air Force and eventually with the National Guard before being bought by a civilian then donated to the city of Lakeville.

A five-ship flypast over RAF Lossiemouth marks the historic end of Tornado GR4 operations from the base, and before XV Squadron disbands on Friday 31 March 2017. The Squadron will have seen continuous service for 102 years.
This was a shot I took of the Midair Squadron in flight around the Goodwood Revival 2014. They were flying very low and very fast, so I had trouble getting a sharp exposure of them without overexposing the background cloud. I had to do some post production to balance out the brightness of the original capture.

As the successor to the F-1 operated by Japan's Air Self-Defense Force, this support fighter was based on the F-16 and developed jointly with Lockheed Martin by the Defense Agency's Technical Research Institute (now the Defense Acquisition Agency) with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. as the primary contractor. A total of 98 aircraft were produced, including 4 prototypes and 94 mass-produced models. Although its silhouette closely resembles that of the F-16, the F-16 differs markedly from the prototype by enlargement of various parts of the fuselage and changes in materials and structure.

Spotted this beautiful Polish-built Lim-5, a licence-built version of the Soviet MiG-17F, putting on an incredible show! This specific aircraft, serial number 1211, spent decades in military service before being carefully restored to flying condition.
The real spectacle is the afterburner, producing a huge burst of orange flame from the tailpipe even in broad daylight. Hearing that vintage jet engine roar and watching it streak across the sky feels like taking a step right back into the Cold War.
