Cyprus is an island country in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea, off the coasts of Syria and Turkey.Cyprus is the third largest and third most populous island in the Mediterranean, and a member state of the European Union. The "bats" or grey-headed flying foxes of Wollongong.

Every night there is a river of flying foxes leaving their roosting trees setting off to forage for food. Quite often we hear one in our back yard. Their favourite trees to roost in are casuarinas. This location is about 1 km (as the bat flies) from our house.

Have you met the second coming of the Lord Jesus? Here're His footsteps.

From April 2014 to September 2015, four consecutive blood moons, a phenomenon rarely seen, appeared in the skies. The appearance of these blood moons fulfills two prophecies. One of these prophecies can be found in Revelation 6:12:"And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, see, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood."In the Book of Joel, 2:29-31, it predicts the following: “And also on the servants and on the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.” The appearance of these four consecutive blood moons is a sign that the Lord’s great and terrible day will soon arrive. According to the prophecies in the book of the prophet Joel and the Book of Revelation, before the arrival of the great disaster, the Spirit of God will speak. His words will water His servants and handmaids. In other words, before the great disaster, God will make a band of overcomers. Then, how will the following prophecy be fulfilled: “And also on the servants and on the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit”?

Back to the begining. Oh what stories these roots and stones could tell ... . .

Jeffrey Street in Kirribilli is one of the oldest residential areas in Sydney. It was originally settled within 10 years of the colonisation of Australia in 1788.

It is located directly across the harbour from the first settlement, and today has uniterupted views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

This small-leaved fig tree (Ficus obliqua) is growing off track on Mt Kembla in the Illawarra Escarpment State Conservation Area. As you can see it comes out of quite a steep hillside at around 45 degrees, but ends up more or less horizontal.

Mt Kembla, New South Wales, Australia

"With both his hands he labors at the knots;

His holy fillets the blue venom blots;

His roaring fills the flitting air around.

Thus, when an ox receives a glancing wound,

He breaks his bands, the fatal altar flies,

And with loud bellowings breaks the yielding skies"...

Third night of Roid Week 2007

I painted this from I photo I took at the Buchart Gardens in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. It's a lovely little waterfall they have in one of the atriums. It feels like you are in a tropical place. I love the bold colors and sounds of running water. So relaxing and peaceful. It rejuvenates me. I wish I could have a lovely atrium like this in my house!

There's a sunrise and a sunset every single day, and they're absolutely free.

First one I've seen this year. It better be careful. The BlueJays and Cardinals are working that area.

Crushed by the hurricane last year, the fig tree is making a great recovery. It had a great root system and is bounding back fast. Every critter in the neighborhood will enjoy it.

Balmoral. Sydney.

The Sun has just risen and it seems the right time to be walking through the boulevard of fig trees, lovely therapy to start a busy day.

I'm glad these are not any bigger than they are. I'd be afraid to walk around the yard. :-)

If you want to be reminded of the love of the Lord, just watch the sunrise.

The secret to a good morning is to watch the sunrise with an open heart.

Be the morning in everyone's eyes and make their day turn into a thing of beauty.
