As I said in my bio, when I was a young man I got to play with some VERY neat sports cars. This Ferrari 365GTB/4 Daytona was my absolute favorite; it was my daily driver for a month or so while we were rebuilding the motor of my '71 Alfa Romeo in between paying customer's cars. You can understand why it took so long... 😉

The Ferrari California is the latest convertible to wear the Prancing Horse badge, in honor of the open-top California 250 GT of the 1950s and 1960s. The 2009 California, though, will have no numbers or letters after its name. It made its debut in Paris in October 2008 and made the L.A. Auto Show in November. Don't look for it in Detroit, though. Ferrari pulled out of the 2009 North American International Auto Show, despite aiming this car at American drivers.
