I saw these three decorated wine glasses while wandering through the shops in Belgrave before finding a spot to watch the Midwinter Lantern Festival Parade. I thought they were rather cute and colourful indeed.
The festival parade was well done but the cramped area meant the crowds were very thick. I also thought the authorities could have restricted parking on the road a bit more as I saw a trader persuade a white van man to move on. So the rest of us could see the actual parade. I wished I could have been like some of the young kids who sat on the kerb waiting for the floats to go past for what seemed like an hour or so. Getting in early was worthwhile for some.
