After Monument Valley we drove to Page Arizona. We checked in at Hyatt Place Hotel (which I highly recommend). Then we went across the Glen Canyon Dam Bridge and toured the Carl Hayden Visitor Center and Glen Canyon Dam.

Glen Canyon DamÂ is a concreteÂ arch-gravity damÂ in theÂ southwestern United States, located on theÂ Colorado RiverÂ in northernÂ Arizona, near the city ofÂ Page. A dam in Glen Canyon was studied as early as 1924, but these plans were initially dropped in favor of theÂ Hoover DamÂ (completed in 1936) which was located in theÂ Black Canyon. By the 1950s, due to rapid population growth in the seven U.S. and twoÂ Mexican statesÂ comprising the Colorado River Basin, the Bureau of Reclamation deemed the construction of additional reservoirs necessary.[8]Â The Glen Canyon Dam remains a central issue for modern environmentalist movements. Beginning in the late 1990s, theÂ Sierra ClubÂ and other organizations renewed the call to dismantle the dam and drain Lake Powell in Lower Glen Canyon. Glen Canyon and Lake Powell are managed by theÂ Department of the InteriorÂ withinÂ Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.

The southwestern end of Glen Canyon NRA in Arizona can be accessed viaÂ U.S. Route 89Â andÂ State Route 98.Â State Route 95Â andÂ State Route 276Â lead to the northeastern end of the recreation area in Utah.

Glen Canyon NRA was established "to provide for public use and enjoyment and to preserve the area's scientific, historic, and scenic features." The stated purpose of Glen Canyon NRA is for recreation as well as preservation (whereas aÂ national parkÂ may carry more emphasis on natural preservation). As such, the area has been developed for access to Lake Powell via five marinas, four public campgrounds, two small airports, and numerousÂ houseboatÂ rental concessions.

Paprika/Turmeric Greek Feta and Parmesan Bonbons with a heart of Nuts, Spinach Salad and Chestnut Honey filled Grapes ("BonBon di Feta Greca e Parmigiano con cuore di Noci alla Paprika/Curcuma, Insalata di Spinacetti ed Uva al Miele di Castagno").

Feta cheese has a shamelessly sincere taste , and yet it can be domesticated by those who stands out authoritatively, like spices. The turmeric and paprika which envelop some of the bonbons show what they are made of and the taste of all the ingredients (cheese, spices, and the hart of nuts) emerge distinctively. The grapes filled with chestnut honey, together with the spinach salad, work as moderators in this hard fight for the seizure of taste.
