All these things were in my St Leonards Northcote Tote yesterday... and all with very good reason – even the milk bottle top!
St Leonards bags are FABULOUS... not the cheapest bags on the market, but beautifully designed, lovely soft leather and strong as an ox. Like my Brompton bike (which it matches perfectly), I saved up for my Northcote Tote... and there isn't a day goes by that I don't appreciate it.

Meet @_laurengould! I’ve met her once during New Year’s Eve at a party that @mack_siuming invited me too at the Radisson just over 8 months ago. The most notable thing I remembered about Lauren then was the “tupperware container” haha! She also happened to be one of the bridesmaids that was a part of the wedding that @staciecarrphoto had invited me to second shoot today. Fortunately, Lauren agreed to give me 5 minutes to get her portrait in the midst of all that was happening during the wedding we were all involved with. We got to chat very briefly too just before supper and I found out that she’s also in the same profession— she’s a Marketing Coordinator for Saskatoon FastPrint! I found out more about Lauren too actually during the speeches at the wedding. She’s a very organized individual and this is one of the biggest traits she shares with the Mo (the bride at the wedding). In as much as I’d like to say that that’s a characteristic I currently possess as an individual, I don’t think that it is and I’ve learned that more so during this project! In that regard, I’m pretty sure Lauren could give me tips on how to become more organized!
As previously mentioned, we took this portrait in a really short time frame during today’s busy wedding day. Lauren nailed the look in 5 frames and we managed to get back to our responsibilities for the day haha!
I’m down to my last 10 days for this project. I’m also leaving for #LosAngeles in 7 days and I’m extremely excited to go on holidays and meet people there!

ИТОГИ КОНКУРСА БИЗНЕС-ИДЕЙ В ШЫМКЕНТЕ.
Мероприятие прошло в форме рабочего уикенда, за время которого у начинающих предпринимателей была возможность запустить свой стратап-проект.
В пятницу вечером 103 участника, впоследствии объединившиеся в 24 команды, представили свои бизнес-идеи на презентацию каждой из которых, согласно правилам конкурса отводилась всего одна минута.
На протяжении всех выходных происходила разработка концепций, бизнес-планов, проекты проходили crush-тесты при содействии менторов – опытных экспертов в сфере бизнеса и технологий. Цель все этой работы была в одном – создать минимально жизнеспособный продукт (MVP).
Ограниченный по времени формат мероприятия, жесткий тайминг на проекте сделал участие в нем максимально плодотворным для команд.
Таким образом, к полудню воскресенья в финал вышли только 10 команд ставших наиболее убедительными в глазах менторов и доказавших минимальную жизнеспособность своих проектов.
Заключительным этапом конкурса стала финальная презентация 10 проектов для авторитетной конкурсной комиссии, состоящей из 9 человек, куда вошли видные деятели бизнеса, представители государственной власти и институтов развития.
Для презентации каждого из 10-ти проектов отводилось всего 5 минут и 3 минуты на вопросы жюри.
Заслушав все представленные проекты, жюри после детального обсуждения представленных проектов и подсчета баллов заработанных командами, были определены 3 команды.
III-место команда EduLife Foundation (www.edulife.kz) с проектом создания сайта с образовательными видео-уроками по обучению различным компьютерным на казахскм языке. Сайт запущен, можете посмотреть.
II-место: Команда Help4u (www.help4u.kz) с идеей создания coworking-центра в г. Шымкент. Приз за идею - 200 тысяч тенге.
I- место: Команда Black & white с проектом по созданию исторической национальной компьютерной игры "Kazakh Khandygy", где героями выступят казахские батыры и ханы. Приз за идею - 300 тысяч тенге
Помимо призовых мест на конкурсе были вручены Поощрительные призы:
Команда BusTime с проектом по внедрению системы мониторинга движения автобусных маршрутов. По их идее на каждой остановке должны быть установлены дисплеи, отображающие текущее состояние движения транспорта. Также, ими было предложено разработать мобильное приложение, где пассажиры могут просмотреть маршруты городских автобусов и оставшееся время до прибытия на их остановку.
Денежный приз за идею вручила @Ainura Ahmetkereyeva Nurtay
Команда FastPrint также получила от Айнур денежный приз за идею создания системы удаленной печати, когда клиент отправляет на печать фотографии или документы с мобильного телефона или компьютера, а забирает их по дороге в любом ТРЦ Шымкента.
Эта же команда получила денежный приз от филиала НЭПК "Союз "Атамекен" за свою идею.
Член жюри - руководство регионального филиала ФРП "ДАМУ" предложил стартаперам подать заявки на финансирование их проектов.
Центр Обслуживания Предпринимателей ЮКО пообещал всем стартаперам, принявшим участие консалтинговое сопровождение из проектов в дальнейшем.
Филиал НЭПК "СОЮЗ "АТАМЕКЕН" по ЮКО предложил заняться поиском инвесторов среди членов Совета Предпринимателей по ЮКО для всех бизнес-идей.
