Sorry guys but time is a premium and I've come to the conclusion when something takes up my camera time that it's best to explain by a snap. Dam these over priced slightly off colour things that just put confusion in your mind for way to long! With my wall of multicoloured squares and no closer to a decision...

The colour version had lovely tones, I'm liking the M9 rendering without any "fiddling" but the monochrome has more "punch" and interest, it's where my heart lies.
The Exif says Summicron 50mm, it lies it was a 35mm Biogon, not coded obviously!

There are no cabinets above the marble countertop, just chunky floating shelves wrapped in stainless steel, and an antiqued mirror in a tortoiseshell frame. I've always lived in old houses with windows above the kitchen sink — the mirror's the window I couldn't have here."

Kitchen material palette decided! It took quite a long time but we got there in the end. Countertop terrazzo TE007 by @diespeker.co (center), walnut cabinet doors by @naked_doors treated with Danish oil, cork floor tiles stained with Osmo Amber oil and mat sealer, walls painted with @farrowandball Ammonite. What I hadn’t quite realised at the time is that the terrazzo we picked is like an enlarged version of the existing terrazzo window sills in the living room (top left)

We've had a lovely day of fantasy kitting out the new house. Bathrooms in East Sheen this morning, paints and wallpapers in Richmond's Hill Rise after that, and then tiles in Wimbledon Village this afternoon. A great tour around South West London's boutique shopping areas, and even if we don't end up buying all the posh stuff, it's given us a really good feel for what we're looking for.
