This was actually a test shot. The location, the angle, the light... I had an idea in my head of what I wanted to shoot, and I wanted to create the pose and shoot it, but I couldn't make it happen in time.
My image ;D

The bones of the legendary giant were really there, as they were rumored, in a place that was normally inaccessible!
Ever since then, I've been sneaking in under the watchful eyes of the guards and spending my days reading old books about giants in this pillar's special seat.

Beech woodland on top of Dolbury Hill, described as the site of an extinct volcano and an Iron Age hill fort. Legend has it a dragon flies between here and nearby Cadbury Hill, guarding the treasure.
I thought a monochrome treatment best suited the sense of myth and legend.

My brother Hunter, me and Dave at the 2024 SL Fantasy Faire. We only got to see one area. Such a shame that we hit the tail end of it. It closed the very next day.
Photographed in one of the many stores of Fantasy Faire 2024
These were part of a Fig-off against |https://www.flickr.com/photos/189188206@N02/| , the theme being wacky fantasy! From Left to Right: Greg the chef, The Lord of Wax, and Grimm the Barrel Rider.
The composition is based on two photos:
1st. The Illuminated Base. Since I was late, I couldn't illuminate the plants and had to take a 108-second photo with ISO 5000 and F4. In addition, with the bad luck that many parts of the plants were illuminated in red. Obviously, all this creates enough of a problem to not continue developing.
2nd. A photo of the Milky Way, which with the F4 limitation I had, was 25 seconds with ISO 5000 (I was very confident with the RAW Denoise, but an ISO 4000 and 28 seconds would surely have been better). The fact of having an F4 forces me to lengthen the exposure, which is not ideal, but I prefer that the point moves a little and gain depth of capture.
The process followed was (all done with Darktable on Linux):
a) Apply an AI model to remove noise in the 1st and 2nd photos (Raw Denoise Nind Model)
b) Process the base (the 1st).
c) Process the Milky Way (the 2nd), superimposing via the Composite module (the base) and applying my pipeline adapted to the Milky Way.
The problem was the base, which had a lot of noise and red colors.
The framing can also be improved, but since it was late, you know, this is where all the bad things begin.
Well, this is the photo, which can be improved a lot, but it has its charm.

Okay so explanation:
This picture started out completely as a joke, but as I continued editing it, I kinda started to like it haha. It's a bit reminiscent of my old work from last year, but...different. I don't know. You guys are going to have to tell me what you think, and be honest. :) This is kind of a once in a long time thing, and may very well be deleted. We shall see.
This is inspired completely by the dreamy atmospheres that Lissy Elle creates in her work, and also a little bit by this.
Finally! My biggest microscale creation is here, around 5400 pieces of pure detail, textures and NPUs. It represents an explosion of fantasy in a quiet medieval village.
*All those pieces exist in real (render)
Just messing with combos to make some characters.
Left to right
Peter Crow-Feather, the bard
Grizwick, the dwarf
G'taan Tetrasun, the thunder warlocks
Hayshaw, the night elf of the dawnwood
Tulza, the Barbarian
might try this again, so let me know if you'd want that
Two of these figures may seem familiar, but that's for a reason! I took Satania (Mother of Demons, Queen of Demoria), and Pyroclaides (Earth's Fury, Son of Thunder and Fire) from my previous fantasy figbarfs, and did some minor and major changes to them, respectively.
The build that will feature these characters is very figure-heavy and I'm not sure how well it will all turn out on camera, so here's a clear view at them. :)
In this advanced Photoshop tutorial I will show you how to create a nice floating woman in a forest. We will turn the forest from day to night effect in Photoshop and we will mask the sky using Calculations. We will create realistic depth of field using a Depth Map and we’ll paint realistic hair and light effects.
