This was taken a couple of years ago in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. I went up on the Grand Mesa yesterday and the colors are starting to turn. The year this was taken the colors were late this year it seems like they might be slightly early.
I've been a bit amiss with my posting and will try to catch up a bit (again) but staying rather busy this Fall and now with the leaves just about at peak color I thought it time to head out and enjoy the scenery. High Point State Park has always been a popular destination in New Jersey and I've been here many, many times but this year may very well be the first time the monument was actually open! I brought my camera and wasn't disappointed with the inner stairway and its 291 steps. I should have run back to the car and got my tripod but I didn't. Then again, if I got the perfect stairway shot that I had in mind I probably wouldn't have come up with this Fall slider of sorts. So it goes and I'm happy on this fine Sunday! Elakala falls are some of the most photographed falls of West Virginia. However, this one is less commonly photographed because it requires some efforts to be reached. This is known as the second fall. More sometimes there is no much water. However, our group was lucky to be there few days after some heavy rains so the falls was at its best. This image was taken after crossing the creek to get a better view of the fall. I used a long exposure to the get the swirling water. This was achieved by using a polarizer filter and a 10 stop ND filter.
Every falling leaf reminds me that I too will soon be separated from these trees

Colorado Rockies in the Fall.
I will be seeing this in the winter soon. I will be out of flickr for a trip back to Colorado and won't be back until the end of December. I will keep up when I can. See you all when I return in 2022.. Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas Season and a Very Happy New Year.

Ojcow nationalpark in autum if full of colours. The sun light paints beautiful pictures in this park. Varied landscape full of orange, yellow nature trees.
I think Boo Lefou is glad that Fall has arrived. I’m hoping he’ll get some relief from his allergies. You can see in this photo the skin in the corner of his eyes is still swollen. When he has flare ups he gets all red under the eyes and in the folds around the nose. I have him on a special diet and he takes the medicine Apoquel which he’ll probably be on for life.
