Volvo B7TL VLW 85 (LF52 UPV) Seen failed at Godstone.
Much to the annoyance of the younger enthusiast's who had to get on a dinosaur in order to get home. That was Volvo D10M Citybus 143. No comparison
Never have I seen such mayhem as at the Lowfloorish running day organised by the North London Collection. Kids almost getting run over just to get on there bus of choice. Top day though.
That's the spot where the guitarist smashed floor chair into the tile until it became dust. So much for the security deposit.
During the move to the new office, a lump of dust dislodged from a fan in Angus's computer. When he turned it on, the magical smoke escaped.
This was during 48 Hours Mystery, and they flashed this on the screen several times throughout the episode.
Our local cable company's horrid workmanship. That cable supplies someone's cable tv and or internet service! Yes, the cable is going into the ground a foot away from the pole, and runs to a house!

Along one of the paths I frequently walk, there are several exercise stations that consist of some piece of equipment--in this case, an inclined, playground-like board--and exercise directions. There are two things I notice every time I see a sign. The larger text--it looks like Helvetica Neue Black or some sort of Helvetica Black to me--has held up well over time where the directions themselves, set in what appears to be some form of Garamond (my best guess is Garamond 3 by Linotype), have worn away where the glyphs are thinner. Over time the serifs and substantial portions of letters are gone. It's still readable for the most part, but it's not pretty. This is, in a phrase, why typography matters.

a friend at work thought this was so hilarious he asked me to take a picture. I did not check to see if there was someone in the stall trying to get some paper though.
We tried to go camping but got rained out. We used the back of the car as a base of operations for diaper changing, feeding, etc.
EGAD. So much wrong with this add. The tarantula pictured does not make web drop lines --their webs are horizontal to the ground. They are too big to hang like this (and don't have that behavior anyway).
Additionally, it reinforces the idea that spiders are scary, and that putting the word "clinical" on anything makes it sciency sounding and better.
Access fail. No signs from the hotel or the conference lead here. Only route is freight elevator, which is blocked, and at the other end of building from everything else. I don't have anything "constructive" to say here. I'm just mad.
In the second set of photos in the open piste area at Mont Genevre, Mikey unhelpfully wiped out hard just out of site rather spoiling my attempts to get a good shot of him. I was tantalised by the big cloud of powder he kicked up, but saw only the aftermath

Après le #fail du proxy des Experts, voila que Esprit Criminel (une série que j'appréciais ^^`) vient de faire une grosse erreur...
I've been living in the darkness since September... hehe? I don't know why, but I usually get sick when there's too much light... Today I couldn't open my eyes at school and I felt a little bit dizzy because here is summer and the sun shines all day... ALL DAY... yep, all day.
My failed attempt at Clare Crespo's Jello Aquarium. Details of my attempt: davesbeer.com/weber_cam/2005/09/miserable-failure.html
blip fail - 21 separate images taken on the shortest day of the year, between sunrise (8:42) and sunset (15:40). Combined in Photoshop using Merge to HDR. Didnae work...
