Regifted to me by Joie for holiday 06. It is full of Froudy faeries. It's really, really awesome. I heart Brian Froud.
talking to the little faerie sitting on my cousins window sill in her bathroom. In order to reach the faerie I had to stand on a precariously thin toilet cover on my tip toes...(its a high window- and the faerie seemed lonely).
There were all kind of costumes at the Faerie Festival. Here is just a sampling of the cool fairie wings people created.

Or more accurately, blue heath, kurjenkanerva in Finnish (Phyllodoce caerulea). According to Wiki, it grows north from the Pallas fells. The map is approximate, but photo is taken near the shore of Hietajärvi Lake, while having a day trip there with sis and auntie.

This Faerie loves to dance to Hip-Hop music. she hangs out in cities whenever there´s a chance of dancing...She´s really an urbanite, and can guide the other faeries around the city with her eyes closed!
I took this a few days ago, but processed it today; even if I don't actually take a photo on the day I post it, I ALWAYS process it that day!
I'm never certain how to spell "faerie". I've seen three ways: "faerie", "fairy", and "faery". Which one do you use? I tend to alternate between them, not sure which one I like best.
I really like these little flowers; I don't know what they are, but I was quite captivated by them when photographing them. :)
