This was held in Hunt Valley Maryland. Had a blast!!

Holly Faerie is a OOAK beaded art doll. She is bal-jointed and has 13 points of articulation. She is made of Japanese glass seed beads, organic cotton thread & fiber fill, ahimsa silk thread, and Swarovski pearls. She is about 9 inches tall. There is a lot of interesting lore about the holly plant, I posted a little about that on my website, if anyone wants to read it, here is the link: faeriedustdolls.wordpress.com/2015/08/17/holly-faerie/

I am the leaf faerie, born of the earth and nourished by the elements of rain and sun. I herald the seasons, provide shelter to man and beast and tower even over the trees themselves. My lofty heights have inspired mortals to built cathedrals and small children to dance in an attempt to catch my leaves in their descent to the ground.

The faerie garden's finally all planted and arranged this year. It's hard to believe but I've already had to cut back the lamb's ears, wormwood, and tansy.

lots of vintage hand dyed laces....so much fun to make!!! lots more to come!

Hanging from the limb of a rhododendron we were lucky to find one of the remaining mystery fairies. Apparently some artist makes a few dozen of these fairies with wire and yarn bodies, paper wings, and clay faces. They tend to disappear pretty quickly once they are discovered. Classic Eugene!

The lovely Charlanna has revealed her inner faerie in the Forest of Chakryn. Yay.

Like me sometimes, I think this spider has his horizontals and verticals askew.

Teagan found a faerie tea party

Light as a feather, candyfloss tendrils!

(These are not yarn falls... they are hand felted with a gorgeous swirled effect around a strong, lofty core! They have been tested by Ro for dance-whipability and passed with flying colors! Literally! lol...)

Can you imagine a meeting or gathering of fae folk in this ring?

Took 1 photo of fireworks tonight and it was this. For some reason, I didn't delete it. Later, looking at the full size photo, I noticed what I hadn't before -- green faerie above the explosion. D'you see her? ;)
